Finally, the most awaited day of Exodus MC Riders has arrived, it was 4am in the morning, oils are starting to climb through the valves, streets are filling up by lights coming out from the mean machines, 3 brave riders went out and head out to the wilderness of the south.

It was almost 6pm when we reached the pier of Matnog, Sorsogon, the last sign of luzon, there we waited for several hours to board the machines in the slippery metal floor of the Giant Beast.

Next journey was "Biri Island", a famous island that also captured the eyes of many travelers. It even reached the heart of some movie directors. It is indeed a spectacular place worth visiting.

The island is populated by local people and the only means of transportation are two wheeled vehicles and their faithful Vessel.

We traversed the island via it's left side at around 3pm. We used the path of submerged sands and large stones, sea creatures that were scattered and nesting all over the place especially on the Mangrove plants. We have climbed both peaks to experience the spectacular view of the "Eagle Head" and the "Isla".

These two heads are being protected by the birds flying around it. We took extra care because these beautiful creatures are trying to grab our hairs while we were seizing the moment, we took a lot of exposures...great exposures.

Time was the enemy, even if we wanted to stay, it was time for us to leave the Giant Twins for we have to take a different route going back. The water level has eaten up the shores we used to traverse.

We saw the white beaches of UEP, the Amphitheater, the LADIES DORMITORY, and the place of Gene's Family. They are a family of religious clan from Priest to Nun, I wonder what happened to the next generation :)

The town of UEP is one the towns that I like in Samar. It's quiet and peaceful, ofcourse there's the camp of the armed forces, and its beside the town of Catarman, one of the biggest and modern.

at 5 am........... the silent road of Victoria has been disturbed by the rumbling sound of Two Brothers and Vance & Hines, it's time to roll out to Tacloban.

Another long journey for us. We passed a lot of catastrophic roads filled with dirt and mud, mountains, trees, sands, stones, and a whole lot of twisties. Not to mention livestock on the loose as well as intimidated locals.

I have never experienced twisties like this in my whole riding life. Curves that I never thought I would encounter. You will be running in curves at a very low speed of 20 kph or as high as 140 kph.

Imagine a ride of 500 kilometers of mountain twisties.....literally.

We got acquainted with the Blast Riders of Tacloban with the Mayor (R1, FZ1, Gold wings, etc.), exchanged ideas and experiences, then continued our journey.

It took us 8 hours to reach our destination - the Bridge of San Juanico in Tacloban, Leyte. We took all the memories we can get especially for Cris. It was one of the most beautiful man-made creations.....no its not beautiful, it's perfect.

Going back to Allen is another story, it was getting dark, rain was pouring. Our body was starting to become our enemy. We were hungry and getting sick. The headache, tremors, tooth pain, hand pain, wrist pain, back pain was all over our body. It was a nightmare if you are alone by yourself.....right jeff? If only we could stay in for the night at least in a safer place but unfortunately we couldn't because there was no place to go but home. We have to pass a town called Lope De Vega where it's urban life has been neglected, luckily we survived, I survived.

When we reached Catarman town, we have to abandon one of the bikes because the wheel bearing broke down. We reached Allen at the owls hour.

More than a thousand kilometer ride, Never ending twisties, Tons of Nature views, The great Mayon Volcano, Sacred Churches, Roads that leads to great cities of bicol.

A ride started in the early morning of Jan 2, everyone was very excited, we went straight to Naga City passing the beauty of the towns, beaches and mountains, stayed in one of the hotel in naga city, check out the CWC resort for their wake boarding theme park, couple of drinks and tried to take some rest for tomorrows ride.

Picture
Mayon Volcano was the itinerary for tomorrow so there we were, taking beautiful photos, once a postcard now in front of our eyes, Legazpi is really a place to stay but we have to go back a little to lessen the kilometers on our way back on sunday, then went straight to Albay to stay, we were warmly welcomed by the friends and relatives of Jeb, we stayed in one of the famous resort during the 80's unfortunately the springs are cold already due to the geothermal plant situated in the city, had a room with a pool inside, had our dinner and had a lot of talk almost anything under the moon.

Picture
Then after that night, its time for our next challenge, to ride back straight to manila, we left at 7am, pass by the twisties of "bitukang manok", Jeb and I enjoyed the twist of the wrist in bitukang manok, after that it was Jeb and Day who had the blast ride of their life, not to mention the jump in the bridge, took some last scenic spots of bicol, pass by daet route, and got home at around 12midnight.

It was a very unique, unforgettable, exhausting and fun road trip for EXODUS MC, new challenges will await and farther places yet to ride
